Privacy Policy
What we collect
Your email address and phone number, the answers you give in the song quiz (names, occasion, stories, messages), any photos you upload, and basic usage data (pages visited, device, approximate location from your IP). Payment details are entered on Shopify's checkout and never reach us.
How we use it
- To write and produce your song and deliver it to you.
- To email you about your song: when the preview is ready, reminders if you haven't finished, and your order.
- If you opted in, occasional marketing emails. Every one has an unsubscribe link.
- If you ticked the text-message box, text messages as described below.
- To improve the service and understand where people get stuck.
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run TrueSong: hosting and file storage (Cloudflare), database (Neon), email (Resend), email and text marketing (Klaviyo), AI providers that write and produce the song (Anthropic, ElevenLabs), payments (Shopify), and analytics (Microsoft Clarity, Triple Whale). They only receive what they need to do their job. We don't sell your data.
Text messages (SMS)
If you tick the text-message box in the quiz, TrueSong will send recurring automated texts to the number you gave: updates about your song (for example when it's ready) and occasional offers. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You'll get one confirmation text and no more after that.
- Reply HELP for help, or email hello@forever-song.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties. Our text-message platform (Klaviyo) processes your number only to send our messages.
How long we keep it
Your song and the answers behind it are kept so you can come back to them. You can ask us to delete everything at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or to stop marketing emails or texts, by writing to hello@forever-song.com.
Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep your quiz progress, and analytics tools (Microsoft Clarity and Triple Whale) to understand how the site is used and which ads bring visitors. You can block these in your browser settings without affecting your order.
